A Reliable Life Consumption Assessment and Individual Life Monitoring Method for Rolling Bearings

Rolling bearings are critical rotating components in aerospace and high-speed trains. The service loads of rolling generally different from each other, causing significant differences their damage degrees reliable life potential. To ensure bearing reliability during service, a consumption assessment individual monitoring method is proposed. Firstly, small-sample evaluation established based on an accelerated test conducted at constant load or block spectrum before delivery, by which the lower confidence limit under any can be calculated with required reliability. Then, limits percentage remaining for evaluated real time according to online Miner’s law. By this means, management conveniently realized. Compared traditional methods, do not consider differences, more effectively safety simultaneously maximize potential bearings.
